Spare-bag Community Guidelines
These guidelines apply to every post, comment and profile in the Spare-bag Community. They exist so the community stays helpful, respectful and safe.
Travel safety
Travel responsibly. Never carry anything you do not know, personally inspect, and are legally allowed to carry. Do not use the Community Page to arrange payment, commercial delivery, unknown belongings, or unlawful activity.
Spare-bag Community Guidelines
- Be respectful. No harassment, discrimination, hate speech, threats, intimidation or abuse.
- No fraud, scams, impersonation, phishing or deceptive content.
- No illegal substances, weapons, illegal activity or unsafe content.
- No requests or offers involving unknown, sealed, suspicious, illegal, restricted, unsafe or improperly declared belongings.
- No payment negotiation, bidding, price discussion, commission arrangements or commercial delivery promotion.
- Never publish personal contact details, identity documents, bank details, passwords or sensitive travel details.
- No spam, unsolicited advertising, affiliate links or irrelevant promotional content.
- No misinformation about airline rules, customs, border control, immigration or safety requirements.
- Follow all applicable laws and the Spare-bag Terms of Service.
- Use the report button whenever something looks unsafe or unlawful.
If the guidelines are broken
Depending on the seriousness and repetition of a violation, Spare-bag may remove or hide content, issue a warning, restrict posting or commenting, suspend an account, or permanently terminate it.
Reporting and review
Every post and comment has a report action. Reports stay private from other members and go to our moderation team. You receive a report reference and, where appropriate, a decision. If you disagree with a decision about your content or account, you may ask us to review it and we will look at it again.
